The MIHL placed four players on the MHSHCA Dream Team. Forwards Brent Darnell (CC), Mac Olson (UD), defenseman Mike Yanis (UD) and goalie Jareth Glanda (BR) were elected to this honor by the high school coaches. "This speaks very highly of our league. We know the league is very competitive and that there are a lot skilled players - this validates our efforts and mission," observed MIHL secretary Todd Johnson. Additionally, the MIHL placed 17 players on the MHSHCA All State Awards 1st Team along with 22 players on the Academic All State list. In all there were a total of 47 player awards.
